General Summary
As the Assistant General Manager (AGM), you are the heartbeat of the gym’s sales and culture. You will represent the UFC Gym brand, providing a high-energy, informative, and incredible experience for prospective members. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will lead the Membership Specialist team to hit aggressive growth targets and ensure every guest feels the "UFC GYM" difference.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
1. Sales Execution & Performance
- Drive Results: Meet and exceed personal and team targets for new member sales, EFT, and private coaching attachments.
- Coach for Success: Support the GM in training staff to achieve a 50% guest conversion rate and 25% point-of-sale coaching attachment.
- Inspiration: Connect with guests by listening to their fitness goals and presenting UFC GYM as the ultimate solution through transparent, trust-based dialogue.
2. Weekend Leadership & Planning
- Take Ownership: Act as the "Manager on Duty" and primary leader during weekends.
- Strategic Planning: Assist in developing weekend financial plans, labor targets, and membership strategies.
- Operational Excellence: Manage the Membership Specialist schedule within budget while ensuring a seamless guest experience.
3. Member & Team Experience
- Culture Builder: Foster a fun, safe, and community-focused environment.
- Quality Control: Walk the floor daily to gather member feedback and ensure the facility is clean, safe, and welcoming.
- Issue Resolution: Resolve elevated member concerns on the spot with a coaching mindset to prevent reoccurrence.
4. Staffing & Development
- Talent Acquisition: Assist in interviewing and hiring top-tier Membership Specialists.
- Ongoing Training: Lead weekly meetings to offer inspiration, review performance metrics, and train the team on current marketing campaigns.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required (Bachelor’s Degree preferred).
- Experience: 1–2 years of management experience (supervising 3–10 employees) and 1–2 years of sales experience.
- Skills: Strong organizational, time management, and math/analytical skills. Proficiency in MS Office/Internet.
- Physical: Ability to lift 50–120 lbs. and stand for 8–12 hour shifts. Reliable transportation is a must.

Compensation: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
